Former FFA program sheep - was rescued by someone who helped with the program so he did not end up at auction. The student who wanted to save him and Julian had to hide them at her teacher's house so the cops couldn't find them and force her to sell them. Teacher "bought" them to keep them safe until they were placed here.

Rescued from Napa Shelter ~5 years ago, pregnant. Volunteer Valerie Hudson rescued them. Coco is her daughter.

Cruelty case via Farm Sanctuary. Dairy in King's County CA ran out of money but continued trying to milk the sheep. They were all starving, eating each other's wool, sticks, etc. and there were 60+ dead animals on the property. There was a court case but eventually the dairy farmers were charged with animal cruelty and the remaining animals were rescued by Farm Sanctuary. We took in Kirsten, Karen, Barbara, and Marsha.

Picked up from Yuba County Shelter. She and her baby showed up on someone's property, property owner took them to shelter. Her lamb had a badly broken leg an was euthanized, and she was not thriving on her own.
