Stray after the LNU fires in 2020. Lived with another goat Hemoine who passed from cancer who was rescued from Tubbs fire.

Had an infection in her udder that led to some neurological issues, which meant they farmer couldn't butcher her. Mastitis.

Born at dairy farm. Separated from mom at three months when dairy wanted to breed her again. Offered on craigslist as "Free goat for meat or breeding". Someone picked him up to make sure nothing bad happened to him, but couldn't provide permanent placement.

Pet rescued from a shelter in Oregon, re-homed to Paradise in Fall 2018, new owners lost everything in the fires, went back to original owner (Kelli Molinari, Mitch + Judy's previous owner), then came here to us.

Came from Lemon Ranch Animal Sanctuary when they had to close. Zipper was from a local backyard breeder. They was looking for a specific companion for Espy. Wanted a smaller goat and female in the hopes that she would be easy on Espy who couldn’t run away or headbutt. Got Zipper who was so scared of people and covered in lice. She immediately bonded with Espy and took it upon herself to be Espy’s protector. We never asked anything of Zipper so with time she started to get more curious and comfortable with people.
