Horribly debeaked at Cloverdale Feed Store. There were over 100 chickens like that there, crammed on top of each other in cages, not being fed properly, and many starved to death. A kind woman saw what was going on and started asking questions, which made the store managers move the chickens to the back of the store where no one could see them. They were sick and dying and she demanded they feed them. She finally got the last 25 or so out of there, and all came here. Eventually a few went to Tikkun Olam, Herd and FLock, and Zinger Ranch. 12 stayed here with us.
