Received from Marin Humane who acquired her from a family who surrendered her. The family had her from age 6 months to 5 years

Skye rescued from her husband's coworker who planned on killing them because their egg production decreased.
Backstory
Abandoned by her owner and was roaming the neighborhood which is in a busy urban environment. For a few months she spent a lot of time in her rescuer's backyard. She flew over the backyard fence into the neighbor's yard that owns a part pitbull mix. The dog tried to attack her as she tried to fly back over the fence. Thankfully he was only able to get a mouthful of her bum feathers.

Came with Ralph from Alameda Animal Shelter. Both dumped in a local park.

Their original guardian developed brain cancer and needed to rehome them. They went to Kim's Nurturing Nest and we adopted from there.

Rescued by someone who worked at Brocco's, she was being picked on because of her crossbeak and he wanted to get her out of there. She lived with his mom and some other chickens in Sonoma but she needed more friends so we took her in.
